The updo is a wedding hairstyle that will always endure regardless of the season and decade. There is just something so classic, feminine, and elegant about a bridal updo, and it never gets old because there are a hundred different styles worth trying. From polished chignons and sleek French twists, to slightly undone beehives, these are my favorite wedding updo styles from the 2011 runways.
This Kate Moss lookalike at the Priscilla of Boston show sports a French twist thats rolled up the crown instead of tucked in at the base. Lovely!
I would not pair a retro beehive with a vintage-inspired dress, but I imagine this hairstyle would add some pizzazz to a simple wedding dress.
